chinese marks ought to have 6 characters otherwise you are in trouble try ching dynasty marks card , we forget all the ming dynasty marks
well it are an awfull lot of variatons , you can TOSS all the characters accept the one in the mid under secction, so the max you have got to remember 8 characters out of 60
so what ought this to be, well DA QING QIANLONG NIAN ZHI-- = Great Qing Qianlong Period Make
so what is happening so we got 4 characters , because the da qing characters are out for valuewise we are already toast
what is the design = rose medaillion yar, this ought to be Canton ware, but is it not anymore
the marks is stamped what narrows it down, it shuts out all the pre 1950 ware
actually is Hongkong ware made from 1970 on
as far as i know but i don,t know all the FDA rules , it possible has a high lead containment
cute vase , greetings WAki
Waki..didnt you tell us a stamp that wasn't centered was a bad sign.
i meant a cirkle mark , but the principle is the same
this is not the very best for different reasons
pictogram + mark is always spurious
missing of kiln pitting is not that hopeful
IMO this is a template or a press through
there is dispersion in the flowers and the leaves
just remember the mid undersymbol or the left under symbol ( cobble stone )
believe me you can learn qing markings in 15 minutes, because i learn people in the institute this way
