      Cool. What are the dimensions and material (it looks like it might be ceramic)?

      What it reminds me of is the classic meat platter made by many different makers, e.g.:

      It's 15×11 and 1 1/4 deep. Not sure what it is made out of but it's pretty heavy. It's chipped alittle and it's like white chalk.

      It does seem like some kind of ceramic version of the classic meat platter. That design of grooves and small reservoir is intended to catch any juice.

      It's a nice piece. Just can't find one like it. Thank you for your information, I appreciate it. I have found so many pieces in a house no one has lived in for 30+ yrs. It's awesome.
