1890’s French Bulldog Growler Paper Mache Pull Toy

The Covered Bridge Festival has been going on in Indiana for nine days in Indiana. It’s an annual event in October. Saturday evening stopped at a place on my way home and they were getting ready to close for the night and there it was. The 1890’s French Bulldog Paper Mache pull toy. The lady said she didn’t want to bring hoping no one would pay her price and buy it. But as you see we made a deal and it’s in my collection. Works like it should and rolls around like it should. Overall it’s in great shape for being so old. Throughout the years it’s been taken care of. Pull the chain and he growls and he’s head moves. Very happy I stopped and looked around. You just never know what your going to find out in your travels.
