    (108 items)

Hi when i was at my local boot sale i came across this item made of Brass/Bronze showing a Dragon fighting a Tiger ? 9inches in diameter ,thick brass/bronze ,unclean when i ask the stall its history all he could say was that it had been in a garage for over 30 years but what interests me more is the writing on the back I wonder if i could ask if anyone could translate into English or give me some idea of what it says please ? also at the same time i got a large Door Knocker show separately. Any help to identify or work out what it reads would be greatly appreciate

That's a tiger and dragon. Popular motif.

asian art forum will solve the kanji problem ( anthony lee or imre nagy), count the toes of the dragon, some type of late mejji mould at best , but i am not an expert in this

let,s call a cute plaque and a cute alloy
