This is a really interesting & unusual vase that I won on eBay AU!
I haven't seen anything quite like it despite doing a lot of research...it's the shape in particular that is confounding me. Maybe someone will recognize it!
The vase is made from two layers of cased glass, ruby over clear. It measures 18.5 cm tall, 7 cm across the top rim & 6.5 cm across the base, which does not have a pontil mark. The decor features a bottom up spatter of indefinable light colours which also looks like it has some glitter/aventurine in it. There is also applied white random trailing on the middle - upper part.
It has suffered some damage to the top rim in the form of a lot of chipping but it still displays well when seen from its best side.
I think it is most likely of Bohemian origin...any ideas on a maker would be much appreciated!
Just added a fourth photo (not mine) of a vase I just saw listed on eBay US with same decor as mine, listed as Loetz, but the shape sort of reminds me of a Kralik vase I have in the Harlequin Frit decor. The plot thickens...

      This is very interesting!
Large spatter, big field of gold, different shape, gold trailing.
It’s not typical of any maker I have seen before!
      Puzzling and pulchritudinous

      Hi Karen! :-)
How did you know that pulchritudinous is one of my favourite words, LOL!
It really is a super vase & I'd love to know more about it...

Updated with a new photo of a vase I saw listed on eBay which has the same decor. Maybe this will help with an ID, as the shape of this vase is quite distinctive. It is listed as Loetz but I have been through as many Loetz decors as I can find & this one doesn't seem to be included anywhere.
It reminds me of the shape of this vase I have by Kralik, although the top section isn't quite as bulbous -

More possibilities - the shape of the vase in image four is also one used by Rindskopf, though I haven't been able to find any examples of this decor being used by Rindskopf. Also - maybe Heckert? Or Pallme Koenig? Any thoughts?

Sorry, no thoughts! I've been back a few times hoping to find out what it actually is, apart from intriguing.....

Many thanks for coming back to this one, Peggy - it's certainly something different, which was what drew me to it! It must be a relatively rare/obscure decor. I would love to get the vase in photo 4 as another example but it is quite expensive & postage from the USA would make it even more so. The shape of that one is seen quite often on examples of Rindskopf Pepita...so at this point, that's where I'm at with my vase, though the shape of that isn't one seen attributed to Rindskopf (or anyone else, presently).
