Lovely unmarked vintage rhinestone & earrings set

Bought this set a few years back and have always loved it. For the life of me though, I cant figure out who might’ve made it. The only marking is on the earrings and it says patent applied for. Austrian, maybe? Any help would be appreciated, thank you!
