I need to know if this is fake or real. I found it this weekend. The last zero in the year looks overly large. It has brown oxide stains. Although the color and sound test indicates it’s silver. I have not weighed it. Thanks

I can tell you..thats supposed to be a silver dollar. Yours is not correct color and looks like rusty metal.

You can also throw it on a scale. A real silver coin of that vintage should weigh roughly 27 grams. A fake of that era is 18 to 22 grams. But it definitely looks fake. Silver doesn't rust and there's no patina or wear.

unfortunately it got some minor mistakes (LOL)

      wrong alignement stars
front relief mixed up with flat relief
      E is wrong
wrong spacing between the 3thand the 4 th cloud
lack of uniformity of the sizing of the O obverse
Wrong inclanation between the O (you can measure the gradient with a triangle)
      inside dimpling in the eye
      wrong flatbarring in the shield

      etc ad infinitum
