Found this last week at a local car boot sale. I go to it often but most time only come away with a full tummy.
It was very dirty and the oily sheen wasn't obvious but the shape and the brass top had me reaching out for it rather quick, only problem there was no one with the car. Never mind he arrived soon and only wanted a small amount for it.
I'm assuming it is Kralik as it is very similar to a green one I got earlier (thanks Peggy for the info) but it is a bit different in that the middle of the base pattern is not the same as the sides.
120mm high and about the same wide.
Super find - even better that it had the brass grille intact, more often than not they've gone AWOL!
I noticed the different base however it has the other Kralik identifier on the lobed shape. That being the small groove around each lobe. Useful on plain colours and on decors similar to those made by other makers.
Hi Marin, yes this one maybe missed the WWII scrap metal drives!
Thank you again Peggy for sharing your knowledge :)
Gorgeous!!!
