The last Bellows camera from the Sallies lot. The Kodak Autographic 3 would have been made between 1914 and 1926 but there seems to be many variations, this one just has "3 Autographic Kodak" embossed in the leather on the back. The way this has been made is quite amazing, the main body is wood and the backing plate steel all covered with leather. the craftsmanship is amazing. I realise there would have been a fair bit of machine production line in manufacture but also there would have been a lot hand finishing and fettling. Again I gave this a basic clean, moistened the bellows and feed the leather.

It looks like you have the No.3 Autographic Kodak Model H. (3¼ x 4¼ inch format pictures). I can further confirm the specifics if you look at two things. First, behind the bed support (the foot under the drop bed) there should be a serial number. My guess is the serial number is higher than 124,101. The second thing to check is the pressure plate inside the back. It should have the exact model info.

My catalogues show the autographic series offered from 1915 to 1925. Specific design details on your camera point to dates running from 1917 to 1920. Well over 100,000 of the series were made.

FWIW, your camera has the "Autotime" scale accessory on the shutter. It was a $1.00 option.

Thanks rniederman I looked for a serial number but couldn't find it, funny really as I had to give the support a tweak to straighten it so it would fold in smoothly and flush! Serial number is 123823-R so close to your guess. The back pressure plate (I take it this is the metal piece that clips off) just has "NO 3 FOLDING POCKET KODAK" then "US PATENTS JUNE 21.1898 going through to JUNE 16.1914" then "MORE PATENTS PENDING MANUFACTURED BY EASTMAN KODAK CO ROCHESTER,NY MADE IN USA"
Thanks very much for looking and offering information :)

while reading rniederman's comments I realized I had used the wrong picture with the case, that was from the Canadian made camera DUH! fixed now :)

Your serial number tells me the camera is closer to May 1916.

Picture number 2 looks like a different camera ... the No.2 Folding Autographic Brownie?
