These were with my dad's woodworking items when he passed. My husband has started woodworking & we would like to know what these things are & how they're used.
Thanks for any help you can give us.

The shopsmith was a tool that could transform into different tools: table saw, drill press, disc sander, lathe, and horizontal borer. You can also add additional attachments like a bandsaw and belt sander.

So it would make sense that it's probably an attachment for one of those?

Actually..after looking closer..shopsmith made other woodworking tools as well and is still in business. I looked at the pictures and could tell it was a clamp. So I searched and did find these..
