Phil thank you for your wonderful praise for this Wiesner brooch, it really is a lovely design esp with the deep green stones to enhance it
Thank you rhineisfine for your super compliments, I can see the treble clef in the bow, very good eye! This brooch was actually the full size design, Wiesner also took the center part with oval stones to make a smaller brooch (I have it posted here with blue stones, ck search box under Wiesner), and the treble clef is even more pronounced on that one
Searching thank you for your marvelous praise for this Wiesner, don't you think it's in great shape for its age, maybe just one darkish white stone but for something around 70yo that's pretty good! Yes I think Wiesner did intend it to be a ribbon or bow, such a pretty accent to this design
Mani thank you for your fab compliment, that is so kind of you & I'm really happy this brooch had the wow factor for you, I love it too!
Thank you very much Ralph for the love for this Wiesner piece, it's so kind of you and always very much appreciated
Thank you WhenIsraelbelieves for the love, very pleased that you liked this older brooch & appreciate your thoughtfulness
Great style here! Love the emerald. (Want to say I don’t understand maker choices about foiled and unfoiled in coordination with open and closed settings in the 50s, 60s, 70s.)
Thanks Daisy for the love and super praise, glad you enjoyed this vintage piece. I totally agree with you, it's mysterious why some designers do the foil or open backing and others don't - I can only guess that the foil gives the rhinestones extra sparkle and reflectiveness
Thank you raven for the love for this Wiesner, very kind of you and much appreciated
Thank you Falcon for the love, it is most kind of you & always very much appreciated
DejaVu many thanks for the love for this Wiesner & other posts of mine, truly appreciate your kindness my friend :)
