was told this was Vaseline glass and that it should glow when under a blacklight, i just can't find a blacklight, haha. it was found in my grandparents attic and my grandmother says she remember her grandmother having it. was wondering if anyone else had any more info or a value of this. thanks in advance.
Its definately Uranium/Vaseline glass, its got that 'glow' about it - as for what it is it bears a distinct similarity to a Russian Samovar (Used to heat water) but I think it could be a Victorian dispenser for water or other drinks. Its a stunning item and I would value it around 350GBP (Not sure what that is in USD sorry). Hope this helps!
thats some of the best info i've gotten on it yet, and i've got it up on a couple other sites too, haha. thank you very much. any idea on a date it was made?
As a family heirloom it is priceless.
I'm pretty sure this piece is Cambridge.I will try to find a link.

wow, thank you so much, it'll be nice to have some info and a name for it instead of "that green glass thing" haha.
Hey MrCarl you know here on CW you are supposed to give the item to the person that IDs it right? JK...It is absolutely gorgeous I drool every time I see it ! My blacklight is even twitching.
