The Byrdes Collection by HOFBAUER
About 8 months ago I posted a pressed glass piece featuring birds and a concave domed area. This was part of a huge lot of glass that we picked up for our etsy store. I liked the piece and it was mysterious, so I kept it. Today I was online looking at our shop..unbeknownst to me, my sister had listed these small bird..(candle holders)? I immediately called her and told her to pull them as they match the original mystery piece. The black rock crow was how I was displaying it and it's in the pictures to show the dished area.
The single birds are approximately 3 1/4" to the top of the bird & the base is 2 1/8". The (candle) hole is about 1/2". The main center piece is approximately 5" from tail to tail of birds and the center is about 1 3/4" tall.

Here's the original post of the center piece..

Wow, you had a narrow miss with some of those pieces landing on the etsy store.
Will either of the two domed pieces sit on top of the dished piece?
I'd be tempted to say that it's a tea light holder, but the domed pieces would make no sense as covers, because they don't have any holes, do they?
Kera.. no, that was my first thought...that they would sit on there but they do not. And to me, it seems like a small candle at 1/2"?
have you checked the Hofbauer 'Byrdes' collection?

Tallcakes..thank you. I suspected it may be German. This looks like it..at least the candle holder..

Woo hoo! TallCakes to the rescue!
I wonder whether the dished piece isn't a variation on the Hofbauer bird bath:

That is to say, not necessarily a Hofbauer The Byrdes Collection piece, but some kind of a knock off.
Certainly, the other two pieces look like they could be Hofbauer.
Well worth keeping both, gorgeous !
Thank you to everybody that loved my pieces and commented. A special thanks to TallCakes for pointing me in the right direction. I have edited both posts and clicked the solved button.
**The center section has not officially been ID'ed yet, but I think for now we can associate it to HOFBAUER. I am still looking through hundreds of images. So far I can not find any evidence of its existence. I have also not seen any evidence of them being reproduced. I think the value is not great enough and the effort required would make it too expensive to do so.
An additional note..Of the 500+ pieces of glass that were in the original lot we purchased, there were several other large pieces of Hofbauer..like platters, etc.
The lady was a huge glass hoarder and every cabinet was full. Several repeat pieces and stuff still in the boxes.
