    I bought this vase very similar to a Satsuma Double Dolphin Hand Painted Urn Vase from what I understand those are Japanese origin and this one has Made in China markings any help clarifying would be great seem to be around 18 inches tall

      the famous double dolphin scam in the zhong guo zhi zao, this is almost on the dot to date

      the Chinese used to sold this unstamped , and they got arrangments with the american market, the americans were in the kongsi , but the this type of ware was flooded were flooding the market and they sold as genuine, actually it is from what is called demise period porcelain, so they were ordered to classify and stamped this

      So this is PROC period porcelain People’s Republic of China on from the PROC period , it is demise period porcelain the so called Great Culturel Revolution Period , probably related to incoming batching as far as i see , so this is made around 1972-1973

      , this is a cute vase but this is more a curiosity, there ought to be of little value, in this, but the probably sell them for high prices, because they want to stick to the scam
