This belonged to family member (hoarder) who goes to every yard and garage within a 3 state radius. My brother and I make a yearly pilgrimage to the storage unit (units) to make room in her house for the next year’s treasure. She finally let us go through some of this and we couldn’t believe what she had boxed up.There was everything from art glass and crystal to all kinds of Asian porcelain. Almost everything is marked and has value. My brother and I are now in the apprentice hoarder program and have offered to drive her around for a cut of the junk.It looks like this tea set had been boxed up for quite a while. The taller cups are really unique as the size and artwork on each one is different. There slightly different size as are the lids that will only fit the proper cup..The fish and flowers are also slightly different as is the color of the streams of water. One is much bluer. The middle cup has a brown ring around the lid that’s probably there to differentiate between the sizes.I I can’t figure out is why the 3 cups have 2 different red marks that are different from the teapot and other cups that have a dark red with gold mark. Thanks for looking.
Lovely Asian design tea set. Sounds like you found a treasure trove jb, good to see you again
Thanks Jenni I finally found something to post. I’m sure I’ll be digging more things out soon..Thanks dav2no1.
I believe that these are all generic Kutani marks.

Thanks kwqd for your help.I believe your right as I found similar marks identified as Japanese Kutani porcelain.Out of all the ones I’ve looked I found one other tea set with 3 different marks that also had exceptional artwork from the 1960’s.Thanks to vinyl33,sherrilou,vocal,BHIFOS,Drake47,Leelani,GianaMZ,vetraio and blunderbuss2 for the love.
Thanks GianaMZ and vetraio50 for the love.
