I found this very attractive plate the other day. I thought it was based on a Qianlong original, but now i think it's based on a Yongzheng style as it is more elaborate and 'full'. I've been trying to understand the difference between Qianlong and Yonzheng and i think it took a plate made in England for a shop in San Francisco for me to get it. Slightly convoluted path, and i'm not even certain that i'm right. Regardless it's a pretty little plate for just $1 at the thrift shop. Mintons made some very beautiful pieces.
