Bought these a few months ago and they have been sitting in a cupboard waiting their turn but I fear they have been skipped over many times. Photo #1 is a group photo so we shall start with photo 2.
The Coors car is a 36' reefer model made by Roundhouse. It is the oldest style car of the ones here. It is a model of a wooden car with the brake on the roof. Something like this may have been used in the 1920s or earlier.
Next is the Budweiser car. I believe this one is a custom. The box it came in said Undecorated. Plus the latches on the ice doors seem to be custom. And there is a bit of weathering with a bit of grime on the lower portion of the car. All the cars have this weathering.
Last is the Blatz car. The ice doors are open on this one because that is where the ice goes. This and the Budweiser car are 40' cars made by Athearn, probably the 1960s or 70s.
