    This is a complete mystery for me. I Don’t know where to start. I'm sure someone will know right away.

    What is it? When was it created? Who made it?

    There is a handwritten identification code on the bottom of the box pictured in the last pic of the 3 stack photo. It also has a router cut on the top, not sure if that was intended or just a feature of the scrap wood possibly used to build it?

    Please clue me in if you recognize this device. Thank you!

      Well I'm just guessing..the 3 pieces look like switches or relays and the transformer(?) Is marked "to call" & "to answer" ...I'm guessing it's an intercom system or something similar?

      Could also be a call box or they also had a signaling system for butlers/servants in old fancy houses..
