Here is a ticket for the Beatles closed circuit showing of their first US concert filmed at the Uline Arena in Washington D.C. on February 11, 1964 during their first trip to the US. The film was shown at over 100 theaters across the country the weekend of March 14-March 15, 1964. The show was padded with concert footage of singer Leslie Gore and the Beach Boys. The film grossed over $4,000,000...and was viewed by thousands of screaming fans. Some places had to show the film up to 4 times a day because of the demand. This ticket is for the Spokane Coliseum in Washington state on Saturday March 14, 1964. This magazine called "The Beatles Talk" was a special edition that was sold at theaters that showed the Beatles concert film.

I remember seeing all these people at the show every week as promised. It really was quite an event as we were expected to all see the show every week - and we did. It was an event at that time more often than not, and you remember Leslie Gore and the Beatles the first time they appeared. We were all expected to show up and we never for a moment disappointed anyone !~
