Late 20th century is my gestimate, lol! Do not know if japanese or Chinese made, I thought perhaps japanese but the reds are more orange-ish, which I've heard were more common in Chinese imari ware. Either way, they're my ice-cream bowls now!

Still hoping for ideas on these japanese bowls, know they are japanese thanks to Apostata for educating me on the blue stripes on bottom! Just curious as to age of them.

i never forget , but i don,t know this , left one= possible be a komegai nari (shaping) --for chawan , probably not an hatazori gata --- former possibly used for chawan

Thanks Apostata! Not sure what that means, but it is a great bowl for ice cream!
