Hey friends. I just found two of these little cups today. I’m guessing they are British and Imari pattern, but I hope you can fill in all the blanks. Maybe Worcester or Spode? Early 1800’s ? Just throwing out some guesses.
x insert bute georgian 1-2-3 compartelising georgian 3 into early regency - chymera
well at least it is strange, it looks like an stray =roque ( = without pattern number)
some people date this is as being 1800-1830 IMO total BS but who am 1
Cobalt _RED - pseudo gold luster White underglaze don,t appear before 1806 and it is not complicated enough for the type of ware after 1917
this is tonality combination which is mostly used in candlelight pattern ( nickname of rge refection of the gilding reflection
IMO we ran into a type of model 961-962-963-964-965-966-967-968-969
next left to the flower the heavely gilded oart with an sort of cardwheel in it could support my point of view
so i think it is a roque spode between 1807-1811
Apostata again gives the goods.
Quite old then Deepseas!
Apostata, you are a wellspring of knowledge! Thank you so very much. I love learning, and I’ve learned a great deal today, lol!
