    I'm not sure when this was made, but it's not new. Made by the American Can Co. I think it says 'Delawhana, NJ' on the stamp on the bottom too. This tin has some nice 3-d features as well. It's in really great condition. i wonder what was inside it?

      Beautiful biscuit tin with lovely courtship scenes. Surprised it is American made the design looks very European

      strange question for an amercan ? , see the guitar at the left typical victorian courtscene

      these are cooky tins mostly used for Thanksgiving and Christmas, they devoured the cookies and used later for stash sewing equipment , originally something like 1928
