    Anybody familiar with these pottery markings. I assume they have to do with sizing since the larger number goes with the larger piece.

      Numbers are gallons I believe. And the crown mark should be RRP. Is there marks on the bottom?

      That makes lots of sense. No marks on bottom. Now I know they are sometimes referred to as pickling crocks.
