This is a tale of buyer bewear on item of $$$$ cost. From the picture I have posted shows an iconic vintage Omega Seamaster 300 ref 165.014 circa 1966.
When this watch was offered to me I jumped in with both feet. Having purchased the watch I found a world of problems from homemade stuff to glued parts.
The watch was nice cosmetically but a disaster mechanically.
I was fortunate to find an Omega trained service technician to correct the problems with OEM Omega parts at a $$$ cost.
Now this timepiece is outstanding and a pleasure to wear.
I guess its best to make sure of what you get it might not work out in the end.
Nice to see it in use once again !~
Well...did you end up ahead in the end? Great watch..
Firstly thank everyone for showing love about this watch and even though I spent a lot on this timepiece it was differently worth it.
