    Art Glass Clown

    Approximately 7" tall

This art glass clown is holding it's hat. I am not into clowns, but we were buying a large lot of glass for our etsy store and this particular piece appealed to me. It has some unusual colors. Looks like a straw mark on the back. The bottom front of one foot has a rough spot. Other than that an excellent piece for my collection.

The seller said her mother had bought it while traveling Europe and passed it to her.
It looks similar to Murano clown pieces, but more research meeded. Details are good..funny eyebrows and face..hands are nicely done.

Perfect colours and the dark blacks and shocking yellow and juicy red lips make this piece well worth the making to enjoy !~

It can be hard to tell but the feet look different to most of the Chinese ones I have.

Thank you for the loves and comments.

Jenni- thank you. I can't say for sure, but definitely was made by someone with skills and creativity.

Scott- thank you.I'm not a big clown guy, but really liked this one.

Racer4..- thank you. Yes..the colors patterns are quite handsome.

PhilD...- thank you. Yes the colors are very nice. Even with my crappy phone images they come through. The expression is comical and shows lots of expression.

BHIFOS - thank you. I can see the molded feet on your chinese versions. Not a clown guy, but the more I look, the more I like this one. Seller said her mom loved it, but she did not like it at all. I was able to get it for almost nothing. I was hoping for Murano, even the seller said she thought it was. She disliked it so much, she basically gave it away. I looked at it several times in the photos before deciding it was pretty detailed and nice.
