Hi there, I was wondering how much this sewing machine could be valued at. Still in very good working condition.

      Hi, lor100. :-)

Valuation isn't done here in the Collectors Weekly Show & Tell forum. There is a sibling site under the Barnebys corporate umbrella that does valuation:

      https://www.valuemystuff.com/us/appraisal

      However, it's not free:

      https://www.valuemystuff.com/us/pricing

Judging from what I see online, paying for an appraisal of a Janome Harmony 2139 wouldn't necessarily be a worthwhile investment.

Janome makes some excellent sewing machines (I bought one for my sibling); however, the Janome Harmony 2139 sounds like a fairly modest, entry level machine that dates back to the aughties, judging from some of the reviews I read.

Your best bet is to search the Internet (craigslist, eBay, Etsy, etc.) for your model to find ones that are for sale to get a feel for value.

You also might want to consider the advice of one of the experts at the International Sewing Machine Collectors' Society website with regard to eBay:

      https://ismacs.net/sewing_machine_articles/how_much_is_my_sewing_machine_worth.html

      Just for the record:

      https://www.janome.com/about-us/history/

      https://craftworld.com/cms/100-years-of-janome/

The Janome 2139 appears to be a Category A, front-loading, short shank, snap-on (presser foot) machine:

      Good luck. :-)
