Hello I have just rediscovered this vintage decanter, I did get as far as trying to find out who made this but got as far as finding out that it seems to be blown with gold flakes inside the glass. The inside is clouded up and I have no idea how to get it cleaned. Cleaned the top which gives a idea of how special this could be

      What do you mean apostata?
    6. apostata apostata, 2 years ago
glass made!!! according !!! to the masters technique of murano, it doesn,ot mean anything

lets say in the style of , IMO you could buy labels of this for peanuts

normally you can clean the bottle, with baking soda, i hope so for you,but the quality is dubious , but when glass is degraded , it probably wont help

Right, he's saying the label translates to, " “glass created following the technique of Murano masters”" Which doesn't mean it's Murano, just Murano like.

I still like it for what it is. It's a nice decorative piece. In the right light it probably looks nice.
