This was a gift to my father from Louie Meyer 3 time winner of the Indy 500. My dad built shipping crates for these engines to be transported in. 1970's

What a treasure!
Looks like it's missing a pen, would have been mounted where the 'stub' is at the front of the engine. I would try to get a period replacement, they can be had and it would add a lot to the piece.
So cool!
