    The Cavalryman is from MCMMLXIV and the German from 1963. The Cavalryman is more detailed and done by a different sculptor. The later sculptor was a bit more skilled actually quite a bit.
    I am thinking the Cavalryman may want to switch hands after drawing the pistol. Firing those from the offhand would be rough. The idea being to draw the sword but those wrist breakers were useless.
    Anyway they are both fine figures and hopefully the images are right side up.
