I was wondering if anyone could inform me on any details about this brass oil lamp that I have, sadly there is no manufacturing buttons on the wick-height adjusters, but the chimney is Griffin Branded.

Nice lamp! I have never seen a lamp globe that was marked, before. According to this link, these globes were made in France:

The globe and lamp were not necessarily made by the same company. I found quite a few of these globes,on line, but nothing which attributes the lamps to "Griffin".
Yeah there are quite a few Griffin Shades online but its interesting to know where they came from so thank you for that.
It's unfortunate that there isn't much to gather from the lamp itself from the Griffin Shade though.
