A lovely looking paperweight that's I think quite old retro/vintage I haven't a clue so if anyone can tell me anything about it it would be much appreciated.. thanks for looking sd
just found initials of- TS- ref image 4 ? marked beneath the surface .. could it be Murano? Timo supaneva?
I don't know about you all but I find paperweights like oriental pottery a real nightmare!!

I think a distinctive sign that may help is the sunflower flower probably looking for that will find who made it.

I believe that this is a newer one. When you get these THE BEST ones are those with no space between the coils. I see a lot of space here.

There looks to be an etched mark on the base also but really hard to get a good photo - looks like number 1895 N- & a signature but the base is really scratched but I’ll try to get a pic & load it ..cheers sd

At first I thought it was a lamp shade and people are always looking for them. If it had been it would have looked awful with light spaces in between the coils. I am not as knowledgeable when it comes to the paperweights,

hi antiquerose yes the base looks clear until you magnify it then loads of scratching from use over the years , im thinking its older than I originally thought..
