    Hello I have just rediscovered this Japanese cup, I think it’s hand painted and very nice, has no saucer unfortunately & I have no idea how old it is. I think it’s pre war, as after Japanese stuff seems to be marked foreign

      Based on the red mark, I think it was made between 1911 and 1941.

      It is under "1900s", left column, all the way at the bottom.

      "Red Mark - Registered 1911
      Japan
      Variation 5

      This mark was known to have been used up until 1941 on a wide range of product lines including Facny wares, View wares, and Utility wares."
