Marx Johnny West Flame the Western Range Horse MCMLXVI

Another find flea find. The is Flame the western range horse from the Johnny West series of figures. This is one of the less common horses as it was only made for a couple years. It was reworked into Commanche the movable cavalry horse with moving legs. The poseable legs make it hard to stand up especially with a rider. Flame is much easier to get to stand up and holds a rider just fine. On a flat surface that is.
Flame here came with the Indian tack but normally it came with a cowboy style saddle. I am working on getting a herd of horses. As Marx didn't make cattle it seems that Johnny West raised horses. I will have to get them together for a group photo some time.
