Purchased this from the outdoor stalls in the Birmingham bull ring markets last Xmas, uses 2 AA batteries , 2 wave bands long and medium waves , stall holder said it dates to around 1962. He let me have it in full working order for £5. Box length 8 inches. Has earphone socket for private listening.
