When I first read the description, I wondered whether it was THE (in)famous Lady Hamilton, and it appears that it is.
This is an "after" painting, that is to say, the artist was giving their impression of a painting by another artist, in this case, one by the famous George Romney. It was a pretty common practice.
Romney was very taken with Lady Hamilton as a subject, and painted her many times.
