I picked up this interesting mask a few wks ago. It has a lot of inlaid MOP and real scarey teeth. It has an owl on the top of it. Check out the details even on the owl's side. I'd love to learn something about this beautiful mask.

does anyone know anything about this mask? i'd love to find out something about it.
I'm certainly not a mask expert but after some searching it looks to me a bit like a Pacific Northwest Coast mask. More research is needed but this could be a good starting point.

This eBay mask also uses Abalone Eyes, a bird on top and the painting certainly has similarities to your mask

Thanks kiva and again mp.kunst. Mine has a very nice patina to it and there are very shiny areas on the inside of the mask, making me think that it had actually been used. I couldn't find any signature or name on it, but it does have some age to it - probably mid-century. It's a beautiful piece!
