Petrified wood And Opal

Hi,last week I was shopping at my local Thrift store and I came across this Beautiful Petrified Wood And Opal when I first saw it I thought is was Rock with Opal but when reaching it I discovered that it is actually petrified wood and Opal correct me if that is wrong I’ve never seen one like this before would love to know more about this ,thanks
