1968 Barracuda MPC Model Unbuilt
The recent post by dav2no1 of a 1969 Barracuda reminded me of my unbuilt model kit
I love the old school decals for this.
I'm not quite sure if I'm going to install the 426 Hemi "Elephant" or the "Leaning Tower of Power" slant six. :)
Thanks Much for Looking at my Post!!
Some old unbuilt model kits can be very valuable.
That's a cool model kit! That fits right in with my buddy's car...
The slant 6 would be something different.
Thanks Much EjaVu2, dav2no1, and fortapache for taking the time to comment on my post!
@DejaVu2 .... wow.... after looking at a few online... your right :)
@dav2no1.... a nice fit :)
@ fortapache.... that would be different. I wonder how many model builders went with the slant six.... probably not very many. Only the economy minded :)
I actually had a slant six in an old Plymouth Valiant. The engine was very reliable. It certainly outlasted the rest of the car as the metal on the car eventually rotted away.
I had a Volare with a slant 6..hated that "laughing"starter! Ha ha ha-ha ha ha ha

For racing I remember them for being from another world compared to the cleaner electric cars of today, nice reminder !~
