Happy Mother's Day to all my CW friends ! My Mom was like most she collected things. I had to inherit the collecting gene from someone right ! Here are three Mother's Day "collectable" plates that were always on display around the house somewhere. The first plate is Royal Crownford from Staffordshire,England painted by Norma Sherman titled " A Good Mother Makes a Happy Home" dated 1976. The second plate with the attending mommy bird is Norcrest China from Japan designed by H. Saji dated 1973. Lastly a small sage green Jasperware plate from Wedgwood dated 1972. Sadly I lost both my parents last year about this time. Dad in April and Mom just two days before Mother's Day. If you're lucky enough to still have one or both of your parents tell them you love them and that you appreciate all they've done for you. If not, please believe they still watch over you and keep them in your heart. -Mike-
Beautifully said Mike. I'm a stepmom but I thank you for your wishes. Love all three gorgeous plates, of course the edge to the birdies
You're welcome Jenni, I think nurture plays a more important part than nature every time. :)
