These Folding Ladies Dress Reading Glasses, or Lorgnette Glasses with Handle was one of my Flea Market Finds for Today 05/13/2023. They are German made, with a .835, standard mark, and the Handle has Marcasite, and what looks like a set Pearl, making them look very ornate! When closed they measure about, 2 1/4” x 1” x 9/16”. and when the Glasses and Handle are open, they measure about 6 1/2", I couldn't find any other marks other than the .835 on the Silver with a rubber grip, lens pad, handle, and not sure of the age, but look early 1900's to me! :^D
As Kyratango, let us know, it's from the 1930's, and it is intended to be worn as a dress-lapel clip! Thank You again! Bill :^D

Somptuous! It is intended to be worn as a dress-lapel clip, the orned handle being the jewel (see those teeth under that part)! 1930s :-)
