Today's foray to GW scored these three very different pots. Firstly a 6" yellow spatter glazed planter. Very MCM probably 60's or 70's. Second a really nice 5" china planter done in 22K gold from the 30's and marked Pioneer #157 USA. Last this interesting 8" bud vase. It's red clay done in a dark green and turquoise drip glaze. The shape a very 30's art deco "Bird of Paradise" bloom. It's marked Canuck Ware Canada which I believe is in Quebec. It looks very similar to my other Blue Mountain pottery pieces. Hopefully, my CW friends who live in Canada will be able to clear up the mystery as to whether they're the same company or not. -Mike-

Thanks Jenni for the"love" and comment. Yes,I like that one too. A gentlemen had it in his hand and I was like darn it ! Then he put it back on the shelf and walked away. Score ! :)

Be interested to hear about the Canuck origin. Her indoors likes BMP and has a lot from my mother and various I come across. Lately a lady at the local car boot sale has been moving on her collection and many while looking like BMP must be from other Canadian makers but not always labelled as they are fairly small.

Thanks for the "love" and comment BHIFOS . Kind of my thinking as well. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery or least profitable. :)
