      One side is for oil and the other side is for solvent/bore cleaner.

      These were made for a long period of time 1890s-1950s, probably for the various forms of the Mosin Nagant rifle, which was made by Russia/USSR and its satellite countries. I think this one is Romanian, so probably 1940s-1950s...
