These were sold at AMP and other shows during WW1 to raise funds for the war effort. Has several versions of the British (commonwealth) Flags and a French Flag on it with "United to Assist" underneath, probably a decal. The glass is from the US and the great thing about this sort of thing is they are usually engraved which gives a good idea of the age, this one has "gary 1917". There would have been a lot of gold trim on the top and the base but most is worn away. 97mm high.
the 'Jewel' pattern introduced by USG c1899 was produced for many years and often decorated for souvenir pieces of the day...
