Ruby Glass Sugar Bowl / Line #500 / Co-Operative Flint Glass Co. 1879-1934

This little ruby glass sugar bowl caught my eye right away with it's beautiful color and elegant design. The handles are very "Deco" inspired and are lighter and more refined than the examples I've seen online from Anchor Hocking or New Martinsville. The color is solid but fades to almost an orange red at the bottom of the bowl. Anyone know who made this ? -Mike-
Now that I have an ID I did find this pattern also had a version with a 1/2 band of silver embossed decor around the rim. Extra fancy ! While not expensive they seem rare. There's only one on ebay and it's blue. No red or complete sets are showing up in any of my searches so far. Except for the fourth pic from the glass info link Tallcakes sent me.

History: Co-Operative Flint Glass Company
The firm started out as the Beaver Falls Co-operative Flint Glass Co. in 1869, later changing their name (in 1889) to Co-operative Flint Glass Co. This was the first successful glass cooperative to be established in the United States. It was formed in 1879 by workmen on strike against the major pressed glass companies of Pittsburgh. Rather than wait out the strike a number of workmen from McKee & Bros. formed their own company. They relocated to Beaver Falls were the town gave them a tax free 10 year lease and a $25,00.00 cash bonus allowing them to be in production by January of 1879. The factory burned in 1889 but was rebuilt even larger than before. By 1920 they had become pioneers in the introduction of color to their glass line. The firm operated until 1934 but as with so many companies of the period they where unable to withstand the economic ravages of the "Great Depression" and ceased production.
