This prehistoric mammal model is not quite as well made as the other Safari Ltd animals. The plastic is more rubbery than the others and the spikes on the Thagomizer are a bit bent. Also the paint not as good. But the price is also lower and I like it regardless. The sculpt is good.
Doedicurus was a giant armadillo the size of a VW bug. Maybe bigger. The average was about 12 feet long and weighed 3,100 lbs but larger ones have been found that weighed over 5,000 pounds aka 2 1/2 tons. These went extinct perhaps 5,000 years ago although they are still trying to figure out if the dating is correct.
The toy is about 4 1/2" long and makes a perfect stocking stuffer.
