Hi all! While at the thrift today looking for old silverware, I could not believe my eyes when I spotted this coffee pot! I don't ever recall seeing one at any thrift before, so of course, I snagged it up to go with my collection!
I think the best part was, it was under 10 bucks!!! The prices on Corning Ware are beyond crazy. When I moved, I actually donated quite a few with other designs. You know those times where you could just kick yourself if you could!?!?! Lol...
It's all good though!
Enjoy!
I know I will! And Happy 4th of July y'all! It's just around the corner ;)
Wow! That coffee pot brings back memories on the family farm back in the 1960s. My mother had the same design on her Corning Ware back then. Nice!
Super coffee pot & nice addition to your Corning Ware collection
Apologies all... I've been so busy I forgot I posted this. I cleaned it up real good too since I took this pic. Just details but it looks even better than it did.
Falcon61, yes, my mom had the larger one of these. I still can't believe I looked up and there it was! Just waiting for me ;). Thanks.
Jenni, thanks love! I am done with collecting these. Maybe a few lids for some but I think this is enough for me! ;)
Thanks for poppin' in to everyone that did! Much appreciated! My neighborhood is having a community yard sales tomorrow, nope, today!!! I've been getting anything left over I don't need out to sell! Crossing my fingers. Then I can go get more! ;)
These are wonderful and if I had that beautiful set you have I would use them. Thanks for reminding me and takes me back to the 60's. They must have made a killing when these came out !~
I know this corning ware has gone up in value, but I use mine every night with the French White pieces and will never part with it. Sorry:( but it is the best. The real Pyrex is also hard to come by. I read the cheap copies can shatter in the oven, so I stay clear of them. I read there were some eye injuries reported from the fake ones, as well.
