      Hi, Steptoe1. :-)

      The 925 marking does suggest sterling silver. The "CZ" stamp probably means that it's from the Czech Republic or some historical variant thereof. I can't make out the characters in between the "925," and the "CZ."

      Hi kerra I will try to take a better pic, I thought the cz was in regard to the stones that are set in it.they are hard to see as sun was out today

      Steptoe1, Don't bother with new pictures; I took another look, and it looks like "CMEO," or perhaps "CME" followed by a copyright character.

      Whoops, we almost cross-commented.

      I think I've told you about as much as I can about this heart-shaped pendant, other than that it's a popular jewelry motif, going at least as far back as the 1950s/1960s when actress Arlene Francis used to wear one on "What's My Line?":
