The Franklin Automobile Company of Syracuse, NY ran from. 1902-34. These were luxury cars that later featured 12 cylinder air cooled engines.

Franklin's Wilkes-Barré, PA dealership sponsored the Semi-Annual Glee Club concert of May, 1932 given by the the St. Conrad's Y.M.S. of Wilkes-Barré. This organization is still in existence, after being established in 1890.
