Miaukonist
(1 item)
Found this camel and carriage on wheels in Bloomington IL for $30. Found similar ones online: horse and carriage on wheels, rider on horse on wheels, etc. They all are titled “Asian Hindu Bronze Temple Toy Camel” or something similar. Cool find!
What are it’s dimensions?
Hi, Miaukonist. Cool. :-)
My first instinct on seeing a camel as a draught animal instead of as a mount was, "Wut?," but then I thought about it for a minute, and realized, "Of course."
Any arid region of Asia -- as well as Africa -- would use or have used camels that way:

I didn't find any exact twin of your little brass sculpture, but there are a lot of siblings out there.
