      Agree with Newfld, some sort of a seashell design. Maybe for fruit ?

      Nice find collectorpaul ! It's a shell form console bowl might have had a pair of matching pieces forming a set (candle holder etc.) for a mantel or hallway table. This is earlier Haeger from around the 40's designed by Royal Hickman so it's known as Royal Haeger. :)
